If you own a rental, a property manager takes on the day-to-day work of being a landlord. Here’s what that means in practice.

Finding and keeping good tenants

Pricing the rent, photographing and listing the home, showing it, screening applicants against written criteria and signing a lease that protects you.

Collecting rent

Online payments, reminders, late fees as your lease allows, and a monthly statement that shows exactly what came in and went out.

Looking after the home

A maintenance line for residents, vetted vendors, regular inspections and a limit above which we call you before spending your money.

How it’s priced

Most managers charge a monthly fee as a share of the rent collected, plus a leasing fee when they place a new tenant. See our management plans for ours.
